About

ArtsMarketing.org, the website of the National Arts Marketing Project, provides information, tools, and practical ideas to design high-quality, cost-effective marketing programs and strengthen arts organizations. Our Advisory Committee provides expert guidance and constantly seeks new resources and information to keep the site relevant and useful.

The National Arts Marketing Project also hosts an annual conference, organizes regional training programs, and provides on-site workshops on a range of arts marketing topics. ArtsMarketing.org and the National Arts Marketing Project are managed by the Arts & Business Council of Americans for the Arts, and were developed with support from American Express Company.

Americans for the Arts is the nation's leading nonprofit organization for advancing the arts in America. With more than 45 years of service, we are dedicated to representing and serving local communities and creating opportunities for every American to participate in and appreciate all forms of the arts.

With offices in Washington, DC and New York, and more than 5,000 organizational and individual members and stakeholders across the country, we are focused on three primary goals:

  1. Foster an environment in which the arts can thrive and contribute to the creation of more livable communities.
  2. Generate more public- and private-sector resources for the arts and arts education.
  3. Build individual appreciation of the value of the arts.

The Arts & Business Council of Americans for the Arts supports national programs that build stronger links between business and arts community. In addition to working to stimulate more financial support for the arts from business community, efforts are also made to stimulate and support voluntarism, services the arts can offer to business, the transfer of management expertise from business to the arts, and sharing of knowledge and best practices.
